The tango has appealed to a larger audience. This may be attributed to the fact that it can be used to pass romantic messages in the way it is performed. The participants are often a man and a woman. There are several types of the tango dance. Depending on the kind, they may be danced in an open or closed embrace. The open embrace gives personal space to both partners while its counterpart involves contact in the chest or hip area The ballroom dance serves to pass messages of emotions that are not voiced .
